Services

The company includes manufacturing departments, sections and workshops, purchase services, sales, constructive and technological design workshops, accountability departments, quality control services. Utilities necessary in the company : potable and industrial water, technological steam and compressed air ensured from our own sources. The company is connected to the national network for electricity and methane gas.

        1. Cutting process
        SC TOHAN SA has advanced machines with numerical control (lathes, vertical processing centre, cutting machines with oxi - gas, chain saws ) type OKUMA, ROMTOS and others, with sizes to process for lathes up to L = 1000 mm, Ø = 360 mm X 700, Y 500, Z 400 for processing centres.
        a. For processing by turning the company is equipped with universal lathes, turret lathes, multi - axle, mono – axle and carousel and can process parts up to dimensions of Ø = 400 mm, L = 1000 mm.

        b. For milling operations there are horizontal milling machines, vertical, universal mono - operation with which parts can be processed up to size L x W x H = 1200 x 600 x 300 mm.
        c. Processing by grinding machines are done on coordinate machines Hauser type, with the possibility of plane grinding (L = 1000 mm, l = 200 mm), with rotating plate, round inside and outside (Ø = 315 mm, L = 1500 mm), precision of 0.02 mm.
        d. Cutting / Cutting out. There is a shop that has a specialized system with cutting oxi-gas type MD - 250 CNC with the possibility of processing thickness 10 ÷ 150 mm and area of 3000 x 6000 mm.

2. Cold flow process performed in our company are deepening and punching. Our eccentric presses of 6 ÷ 315 tf and our hydraulic presses of 40 ÷ 250. In the pressing section we are able to process on hydraulic presses using forces of 25 ÷ 100 tf thermosetting plastics, phenol resin or fiber resin type, with or without metallic fitting included, destined to the contractors, coupling pieces, isolators, electric and electro technical devices having a mass up to 0.3 kg.

3. Protective coating processes which can be performed are: zinc plating, cadmium plating, tin coating, eloxation, bluing, nickel plating, passivation, phosphate plating, copper plating. The main performances of the coating machines are L max = 700 mm, l max = 200 mm, Smax = 20 dm². The protective coating processes are assisted by our own chemistry laboratory, which evaluates and observes both process and final product.

4. Metallic constructions There is a specialized workshop which is endowed with a cutting device with CNC, welding device MIG-MAG, etc.
Welding operations : Electrical, oxyacetylene and pressure welding.
Pressure welding: – Points welding for materials having a thickness of 0.5 ÷ 2 mm.
– In line for materials having a thickness of 0.5 ÷ 1.5 mm.

           5. The thermal and thermo chemical treatment activity
     Is performed on a heat treatment line type IPSEN with computer assisted work cycle. The software operating the computer of the thermo - chemical treatment installation is at the level of the year 2008.

     Here are some performances of this line:
The treatment is performed under controlled protection atmosphere type „ENDO”.
The maximum capacity of a load is 300 kg.
The thickness of a treated layer is 0.01 ÷ 1.5 mm.
Treatment capacity 10 t/month.

     Types of treatment which can be performed within this line are:
    - normalizing;
    - carburetion (cementing) with layer thickness between 0.1 ÷ 1.4 mm;
    - carbon nitrating under controlled atmosphere with layer thickness
     between 0.1 ÷ 0.9 mm;
    - Soaking, normalizing, annealing.

6. In our chemistry and test laboratories
we are able to perform: physical chemical analyses, (establishing chemical composition of ferrous, non ferrous, pyrotechnical materials, coating analyses: layer thickness, adhesion, porosity, corrosion, baths composition etc.), physical mechanical tests (traction resistance – up to 40.000 daN, hardness tests – HB, HRC, HV, metallographic micro sections, macrostructure, hardening - annealing – max.1300⁰C, metallographic analyses, checking and metrological remedies, tests for bicycle and motorcycle products, tests for tool machines accessories.

          7. Transport activities
    SC TOHAN SA is endowed with an assembly of truck and trailer body homologated according to ADR in order to transport dangerous products class I EX III, having the following characteristics:
      For the truck: - useful load – 14,400 kg. - Size Lx l x h – 8.70 x 2.45 x 2.00 m.
      For the trailer: – useful load – 8,000 kg - Size L x l x h – 6.00 x 2.45 x 2.00 m

           8. Demilitarization activity
     The company performs operations of disruption, delaboration and destruction of the following components :
          - Artillery ammunition : any type ;
          - Reactive ammunition : any type ;
          - Ammunition with illumination bomb : any type ;
          - Explosive bombs, warheads, torches, ignition devices, SPA port prime screw, electrical prime.
